Michael Marianer is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in family office management, private equity, and real estate investments. He currently serves as Partner and CFO at Gimlet Holdings, L.P., where he is responsible for strategic planning, deal underwriting, investment management, and financial oversight for the family office’s diverse portfolio, which includes private credit, private equity, and real estate. Prior to joining Gimlet, Michael was General Manager and CFO at Mitelman, overseeing investments in real estate and financial services, and Managing Director at Esmarko Capital, where he managed investments across manufacturing, real estate, and private equity. Michael began his career in public accounting, working at Deloitte and BDO Canada, specializing in tax planning, financial audits, and consulting for a wide range of businesses. He holds a CA in Public Accountancy, an LL.M in Taxation from Université de Montréal, and a B.Comm in Accounting from McGill University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois and a Chartered Accountant in Quebec.
