Ron Mayers is a seasoned financial executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in wealth management, finance, and law. He is the Founder of Sigma2 Family Office (est. 2023) and currently holds a leadership role at Blue Marlin Partners, LLC. Prior to this, he was an Independent Advising Representative and Director of the Family Office Practice at Blue Bridge Wealth Management, overseeing cross-border financial solutions for high-net-worth clients. His career includes leadership positions as President and CEO of Laurentian Capital (USA) Inc., Vice Chairman and Head of Alternative Strategies at Desjardins Securities, Inc., and Founder of Genoa Capital Inc. Mayers holds a Juris Doctor in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from SMU Dedman School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Vanderbilt University. He is a licensed portfolio manager in Ontario and Quebec and has extensive experience in hedge funds, portfolio management, alternative investments, and private equity.
